The way
The Way is a unique opportunity for guests to remove themselves from the thoughts and pressures of the world, by staying at the host site for three days. This act alone, takes them out of their normal daily routine and allows the guests to be blessed with agape kindness from the team. The format of the three days allows attendees to have time for self-reflection, Christ-reflection and Discipleship.
During these three days, the guests will hear a series of talks, given by team members who are past alumni from different locations. The speakers are given an outline of the teaching points for their talk. Each speaker shares their own personal testimony interwoven through the talk. These testimonies, are life examples of the speakers’ experiences that tie directly into the outlines. They are faith inspiring because we see the intervention of God’s love in the outcome.
The result of these three days is that the guests and the team members leave more focused 1. on their own priorities, 2. God’s priorities for their life 3. Ways they can apply those priorities in their daily lives. The fruits of these 3 days, have produced new Christians, renewed Christians and new ministries because of the leading by people that have applied into action the will of the Father.
The more common versions of these three day movements in the northern half of Indiana would be the Walk to Emmaus, The Brethren Way of Christ, The Via De Cristo, The Great Banquet, the teenage version known as The Awakening and the prison version known as Kairos.
