The Way's Mission
The purpose and intent of The Way is to renew a community to Christian faith, commitment and action. The community may be a home, church or a geographic region. Renewal begins with the individual by either being “born again” by the Spirit of Jesus Christ indwelling them for the first time, or by revival of the Spirit of an individual through Spiritual maturity.
The Way | Castlewellan
The Way in Northern Ireland is held in Castlewellan Castle Christan Conference Centre in County Down near New Castle. The Castle was built in 1856 as a personal home for the Annesley family. The Castle is a warm and inviting atmosphere which is ideal for a weekend spiritual residential experience. The Castle sits on the grounds of the Castlewellan Forest Park. When attending The Way in Castlewellan for the first time, there are a few things you need to know.
How Do I Attend?
The total cost of the weekend for each guest is £120 (£60 paid by guest and £60 paid by sponsor), please send your share of the cost to the address listed on this page. Make cheques payable to THE WAY NI. Early applicants will be notified of acceptance by letter/phone call several weeks before the weekend. Late applicants will be handled as quickly as possible. You may be placed on a waiting list since we only have a certain number of spaces available. Why Do I Need a Sponsor? Having a sponsor will allow you to attend your retreat weekend without the distractions of your every day life. Not only will they take care of everything for you, they will also be covering you in prayer during this very special time. |
