The Way's Mission
The purpose and intent of The Way is to renew a community to Christian faith, commitment and action. The community may be a home, church or a geographic region. Renewal begins with the individual by either being “born again” by the Spirit of Jesus Christ indwelling them for the first time, or by revival of the Spirit of an individual through Spiritual maturity.

Camp Sonshine, Brooksville, Florida was established by the Church of God of Prophecy to be used as a youth camp and retreat center in the Nature Coast area. Pastor Joe Martinez, the business manager for Camp Sonshine and his family, manage and care for the camp.
The Way hosts the men and women’s weekend retreats at Camp Sonshine. We are excited to offer the 3-day retreat to Hernando, Pasco, Citrus and Lake counties. Come, enjoy the peacefulness, and be prepared to encounter God. The Way is an opportunity to spend 67 hours investing in yourself.

How Do I Attend?
A person who has attended a retreat weekend will sponsor you. Why Do I Need a Sponsor? Having a sponsor will allow you to attend your retreat weekend without the distractions of your every day life. Not only will they take care of everything for you, they will also be covering you in prayer during this very special time. |
